Never Alone

I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.
Psalm 16:8 (NLT)

We are not alone. God created us for fellowship with Himself. He never purposed for us to travel this life without Him. No more than a loving Father would abandon his infant son to fend for himself, did God ever have in mind that He would abandon us to fight our own battles. The loneliness we sense is in our own head not in the spiritual reality God has created. He is the God who is here! He is present. He is always with you. Perhaps it was his shepherding, as a young boy, all alone at night guarding the sheep that taught David to trust in God. The reality of God caused David to write one the most comforting passages in all of scriptures. Read it, sense it, and believe it in all of its truth. David proclaims, “I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.” May you experience this reality today.

Dear Father, thank You for Your promise that You will never leave me or forsake me. Today I trust You, for I know You are always with me. I will not be shaken for You are right beside me. Hallelujah!
